Pastor Carl Tedford
Elder Carl Anthony Tedford was born April 15, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. He was reared by parents, Ralph Tedford, Jr. and Margaret Ann Tedford. He has seven siblings.
He was educated in the Flint Community Schools and is a graduate of Mott Community College and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. At General Motors, he worked in various departments, including Security, Management and Production, retiring in 2009. Currently, he is employed as a Registered Nurse at Hurley Medical Center - Level I Trauma Center in the Neuro Trauma Surgical Burn ICU. |
As a Trauma Nurse and Minister, Pastor Tedford has the unique opportunity to facilitate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing to patients and also support their families as they experience unexpected, traumatic, life-altering events.
Pastor Tedford was brought to Christ Assembly Full Gospel Tabernacle at two weeks old. He gave his heart to the Lord at the tender age of four years old, under the Ministry of the late Bishop Frazier P. Carlton and Missionary Marguerite E. Carlton. As a son of the church, he served in various leadership positions, including: Youth Leader, 1981 Minister of Music, 1983 Minister of the Gospel, ordained in 1994 Church Administrator, 1999 Pastor, Elevated 2008 After being mentored by Bishop Frazier P. Carlton and his wife, Missionary Marguerite E. Carlton from early youth, Pastor Tedford had the honor and privilege to be their caretaker in their latter years, lovingly serving in that capacity for 18 years until they were both called to Reward.
